My best friend Kate was offered a real job today as a real life nurse, so I made this for her. I was inspired to find a vintage nurse image (one preferably not as creepy as others Ive seen. Kate hates the creepy ones haha) . Then I found the wings and glues them on and added a little glitter to the outsides. Then I wanted it to be something she could hang so I took some watercolor paper ( it was the only heavy thing I had for a backround) and used a mixture of water and elmers glue to glue the pages of books to the back of it. I punched a hole and glued the nurse on. I cut out the words from a book and glued them onto the nurse image. It needed something else so i took some water color pencils and another part of a ripped book and colored it in. Used some colored hemp and voila!

If the thing you make me is even half as cool as the one in the picture then I will poop everywhere from happiness and you will poop everywhere from disappointedness because I am not nearly that good of an artist... but you will forgive me and we will continue to barter. OKAY?!!
